About Hudson Ross AssociatesHudson Ross Associates, LLC is your local US Highway 285 producer of Conifer Radio since its inception and launch in January 2020. Hudson Ross developed Conifer Radio two months before the world changed on all of us, and continues to develop and build your local community radio station organically on a financial break-even basis and based on the expectations of our local communities. We continue to be successful by being "positive" and "nonpolitical." Having a good/respectful sense of humor is as essential as it is the respect for our mountain culture.
Developing a public resource in the US 285 Corridor does not occur quickly. A community radio station will not be successful if the community does not believe in it - and more so - won't support it. Again, Hudson Ross produces Conifer Radio at a minimum of cost, participation is voluntary and this participation and support only comes from our mountain communities (we have declined to accept support from "down the hill." Regular local financial underwriting support of Conifer Radio is essential for the station to move forward. Throughout the broadcast week, we recognize and thank the community members who have stepped forward and we invite all community organizations to join us.
Who / What is Hudson Ross Associates? Hudson Ross Associates, LLC served as a Conifer-based management consulting firm specializing in positive outcomes-based Executive Search and interim HR Management since 1999. Mark Spiroff is the principal consultant of this firm and has worked with and advised over 150 well-known Colorado-based corporations and organizations across the private, non-profit and public sectors for over 35 years through his Senior Consulting relationship with the Mountain States Employers Council, and also through his Hudson Ross Associates, LLC firm.
Hudson Ross Associates in 2020 adapted its management consulting practice into the design/build and delivery of a community radio station for the US Highway 285 Corridor. With this pivot, the Conifer Radio business plan was developed, launched in January of 2020 at a minimum of cost and in the spirit of a nonprofit public radio station. Conifer Radio will continue to organically grow to serve the community interests of the Conifer, Bailey, Pine, Evergreen Colorado and our US Highway 285 corridor communities from Indian Hills up to Kenosha Pass. With continued support and active participation from our mountain communities, the plan remains to expand, re-brand and convert Conifer Radio to a nonprofit community radio station organization.
